It’s Love: How A Dyson Vacuum Stole My Heart
It’s okay to love a vacuum, right? I mean, not just any vacuum, obviously. I’m talking about a vacuum that makes my house look like it doesn’t have two little boys and a temperamental tuxedo cat running around in it day after day. The Dyson Ball Animal 2 has sucked things out of my carpet I didn’t know were hiding in there and in doing so it has stolen my heart. If your home is filled with babies and furbabies, this vacuum is going to steal your heart too!
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 has something no other vacuum has: the strongest suction. This is powerful suction that picks up the stuff you can’t see sitting in your floor, in those crevices, and in those rugs. No matter the type of flooring you have, the Dyson Ball Animal 2 can handle it. It glides seamlessly from tile or hardwood floors onto area rugs or carpet without needing to change out the vacuum head or swap to a tool. That kind of versatility saves me time and makes the chore of vacuuming that much easier. There’s no sacrifice on the suction when moving from carpet to hardwood floors either. The Dyson cleaner head has active base plates that adjust automatically as the surface of the floor changes sealing in that superior suction the whole time.
Of course when you need a little something extra to clean hard to reach or trouble spots in your home, the tools that come with the Dyson Ball Animal 2 are perfect! There are SIX tools that come with this vacuum so you can get right into the spots you need to clean with exactly the type of tool you need to tackle the job. With two little boys running around leaving a trail of crumbs everywhere they go and a cat that spends too much time shedding in the same spot in my house, these Dyson tools are saving my sanity. Does your cat have a stair? You know, the one stair in the house that he will sit on/sleep on/cuddle into for hours upon hours, day after day, year after year? Just my cat? Great. I really thought I was going to have to resign myself to having one stair that just looked kind of like it was growing its very own cat. Not anymore! The Dyson Stair Tool fits right into the small corners, and even up onto the carpeted riser. That stair now matches the rest of my carpet! When my cat isn’t sleeping on his stair, he’s monitoring the kids from his favourite chair. Lucky for me, this chair is a linen material that likes to cling onto those fine cat hairs like it’s trying to knit its own cat fur throw blanket. This chair needs the extra oomph that the Dyson Tangle-Free Turbine Tool offers. The counter rotating brush pulls fur (and my ever shedding locks) up out of the chair cushion, through the middle of the tool, and into the vacuum canister. Need to get underneath the couch to vacuum up the dust? The Dyson Articulating Hard Floor Tool is the perfect way to do it. The purple handle of the Dyson Ball Animal 2 lifts off and extends giving you the perfect length wand for attaching that Articulating Hard Floor Tool and getting under the lowest pieces of furniture.
Although the kids thought it would be a good idea, I wouldn’t recommend using the Dyson Groom Tool with your cat. If you happen to have a medium or long haired dog, this is the tool for you. I remember brushing my dog when I was a kid, and there would be dog hair everywhere. We always ended up doing it outside to keep the mess out of the house. The Dyson Groom Tool lets you brush your dog while simultaneously vacuuming up all the fur! Now that’s a great way to save time and cut down on the flying fur.
I’ve been using my Dyson Ball Animal 2 vacuum all over the house. I’ve got tile floors in the entryway, laundry room, and bathrooms, hardwood floors on the main level, a high pile carpet on the stairs and upstairs in the playroom and bedrooms, and a low pile carpet in the basement. I’ve been able to tackle all these different flooring types without changing the vacuum head on my Dyson Ball Animal 2. As much as I love the high pile carpet we have for how warm and cushy it is, I know it traps pet dander, allergens, and crushed cheerios deep down. The superior suction power of this vacuum brought up SO MUCH fine dust from the playroom carpet. It was crazy! I feel so much better about my kids playing on the floor in there now.
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 is really easy to maneuver and push around the house. The Dyson Ball means it turns really well and rounds corners with ease. It has a nice long cord, so I can plug it in on one side of my main floor and vacuum every inch of the main level without having the unplug it and move the cord. When the canister is full, emptying it takes just the press of a button and a little shake into the garbage bin. My hands don’t even get dirty!
The Dyson Ball Animal 2 has everything you need for shiny floors off of which you could feast … if you were so inclined. I’ll be honest, my toddler has a tendency to eat things that have fallen on the floor, so having that floor truly Dyson clean doesn’t hurt! Dyson machines outperform others and are engineered to last. You get superior cleaning with the strongest suction in a vacuum that’s not only compact but also lightweight. If you’re looking for a vacuum that has the structural integrity to stand the test of time and young kids, the Dyson Ball Animal 2 is it!
