Display Your Family Photos with Canvas Factory

I have a confession to make. Petit Prince is 17 months old and we don’t have a single picture of him on display. Don’t get me wrong, we have LOTS of pictures of Petit Prince, just none have been put up anywhere. I blame this on simply being too busy with two kids to make it to the store to buy frames so I have somewhere to put the pictures. You see, the photographer that we use for our family photos has taken some great shots of our family and even sent us some excellent prints. I just don’t have frames. Sure I leave the house often enough, but photo frames just end up not making it onto my list of things to buy so I just don’t get around to it. We didn’t have any pictures of Petit Prince up on our walls, but we do now! How did I accomplish this? Nope, I didn’t finally remember to buy some photo frames. Instead, I skipped the frame and went for a Canvas Factory canvas!
Ordering a canvas print was so much easier than I’d imagined. Canvas Factory makes it so quick and painless. To be perfectly honest, the hardest part was choosing which photo I wanted to use! With Canvas Factory, you can upload a photo, or choose one from your Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, or Flickr. I opted to upload my favourite picture from Petit Prince’s newborn photo session. I was able to adjust the size and centre the photo to my liking. The next step was choosing the wrap around style. There were three options: gallery wrap (image wraps around the sides), mirror image wrap, or coloured wrap (your choice of custom colour). I tried playing around with all three options to decide which one I liked best. The mirror image wrap was what I chose because it allowed the image to remain centred on the front of the canvas without losing any of it to the wrap. I love that Canvas Factory lets you preview each option, so you know exactly what it will look like with each choice before committing! Next you can choose to keep your picture as is, or add all kinds of different effects. You can make it black & white, sepia, or choose from their more stylistic options to manipulate the image. Then you’re done!
Once I settled on a picture, it took me maybe five minutes to get my canvas set up and ordered with Canvas Factory. Now THAT is something I’ve got the time for! It took a few days for my order to be ready for shipping, and two weeks to arrive on my doorstep. I even got an email in the morning telling me it was arriving that day, and another email as soon as it was dropped off. The canvas is great! I think the quality is nice, the colours look rich and true to life, and it has a nice fuzzy lining along the back of the canvas edges so it won’t scratch up the wall behind it. It even arrived with the hanging hardware on the canvas so all I had to do was find a nail and the right wall.
Now we finally have the very first picture of Petit Prince up on the wall in our home! It’s one of the first things you’ll see when you walk into our house, and everyone that’s seen it has told us they love it! I can’t wait to get more canvas prints of our family photos, and maybe one of these days I’ll even get around to buying some frames for the photo prints we’ve got waiting in the closet!
